Embarrassed to admit it, but Jeff's move with the imaginary friendship hats made me cry, so that wins out on the emotion front. Jeff was also my favourite character this week--I know he always is, but this week he actually deserves the title ;)

I loved Jeff going back for the Imaginary Friendship Hats, it was one of those sweet, sincere moments that they really hit out of the park with his character.

But I actually exhaled as though I'd been punched in the gut when Troy texted, "we both know I'm your first friend", so have to go with that.

Loved ALL. One of my favorites episodes this season,it was epic. And the art department, like always, did an amazing job.

When can we have a Pillowman action figure?

Had a feeling people would love this more than me. I would have liked it more if there was less redundancy from the previous ep, but I guess I'm also fatigued by Troy/Abed in general. I liked the episode more as it went on, but to me it pales in comparison to something like Modern Warfare.

Of all the eps that aired since the show came back I enjoyed this one the most. I really felt like i was watching a documentary on the history channel! When Troy and Abed said those cruel things to each other I was SO SAD like I had no idea it would upset me that much. I'm so invested in their friendship its embarrassing. Of course the thing with Jeff also touched me as well. Such a touching ep but still hilarious ep.

I forgot to mention it in the post, but that "LEONARD LIKES THIS" status update made me LOL both times I watched the ep. That was just such a great commentary on how, in history (at least shown through documentaries) they always had these super eloquent letters describing their times ... And now we have Facebook updates.

I would have liked it better if the ending weren't too simple.

A. As seen with the end of the celeb impressions ep, the crack was forming before the pillows vs blankets fight.
B. Both Troy and Abed really went for the throat in the text and the weakness memo respectively.

I found it hard to believe they just sweep things under the rug at the end.

I love Troy and Abed but I want their friendship to be real, not somehow immune to realistic problems and flaws. in particular, I would like Abed's flaws to be explored. Troy's have but after season 1, Abed has been seen as nearly perfect. So i was glad to see that side explored with the impersonators ep ending and the pillow-blanket fight beginning. But if that's all we're gonna get on this subject, I'm not impressed with the way it was wrapped up. I guess we'll have to see what happens next. Sometimes my opinion is changed once I see how an ep fits in with the next two episodes.
